After a life as an honest but poor shoemaker, and the realization that kissing frogs was getting her nowhere, Verity Langford
acknowledged the call of academe. She is presently studying for a degree in English-Drama and Education at the University
of Exeter, thus celebrating the notion, with Mitsumasa Anno, that it is better to journey than to arrive.
