Education of people with very severe physical disabilities — people who cannot speak and are quadriplegic — can be greatly
facilitated by the internet and by new computer access technologies. Five students between the ages of 17 and 24 have completed
courses over the internet using access technologies that allow them to control the mouse pointer on the computer screen by
moving just their eyes or head.
