There is growing evidence that intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIG) are effective in some neuroimmunological disorders of childhood.
This short review summarizes the evidence-based indications and recommendations of IVIG therapy in these disorders. Despite
considerable efforts to define the role and mechanisms of IVIG, more clinical studies are needed to further explore the therapeutic
potential of IVIG in childhood diseases of the nervous system and muscle.
