Background
Co-existing subcapital and subtrochanteric fracture on the same side of the hip is rare. We are not aware of a similar case
reported in the literature.

We present a rare case of co-existing ipsilateral subcapital and subtrochanteric fracture in a 67-year-old woman. The mechanism
of injury was low energy.
Therapeutic implication
