Abstract
The main object of this paper is to propose an intelligent system dealing with affirmative or negative information. We do not refer to a logical negation but to a linguistic one. Moreover, not only atomic but also complex nuances can be denied. Among the intended meanings of a linguistic negation, the choice is made by using the strength of the user negation and a preference principle which takes into account the answer simplicity.
