Four hydrolyzable tannins, 1,2,4,6-tetra-
O-galloyl-β-
d-glucopyranoside, 1,2,6-tri-
O-galloyl-β-
d-glucopyranoside, 1,4,6-tri-
O-galloyl-β-
d-glucopyranoside; and 1,2,4-tri-
O-galloyl-β-
d-glucopyranoside, along with a phenylpropanoid glucoside, syringin, were isolated from the flowers of
Rafflesia kerrii. The structure elucidations were based on physical data and spectroscopic evidence.
