The lack of general covariance of the gravitational field equations of Yilmaz is demonstrated. It is shown that Einstein’s
theory of general relativity does admit exact two-body solutions with charge balancing the gravitational attraction and hence
the gravitational attraction between separated bodies in general relativity has been demonstrated with an exact solution.
