Supraglottische Alternativen zu Maskenbeatmung und Intubation stellen eine wichtige Option zur Beatmung von Patienten mit Herz-Kreislauf-Stillstand dar. Drei Fälle von erfolgreicher Reanimation unter Verwendung des Larynxtubus LTS-D im Rettungsdienst der BASF SE werden dargestellt. Kurze Hilfsfristen, regelmäßige Ausbildung des Personals und Optimierung der Algorithmen im Sinne der Guidelines des ERC, die – unter anderem – durch Anwendung des Larynxtubus erreicht werden können, trugen dazu bei, dass alle drei Patienten wieder berufstätig sind.

Supraglottic alternatives to mask ventilation and intubation are an important option for ventilation in patients suffering from cardiac arrest. Three cases of successful resuscitation using the laryngeal tube LTS-D in the emergency medical service of the company BASF SE are described. Short reaction time, frequent training of personnel and optimization of algorithms according to ERC guidelines, which can be achieved, among other things, by using the laryngeal tube, contributed to the return of all three patients to their occupation.
