Lower limb congenital or post-traumatic deformities, especially in the presence of torsional defects, produce early degeneration disorder of the knee joint. An accurate clinical and radiographic approach is mandatory, to develop the pre-operative planning for surgical correction. The correction of the femorotibial axis induces normalization of the patella at the patello-femoral joint, resolving both defects and preventing the development of pathology.
