Propagation of structural modifications to an integrated schema

Abstract
This paper addresses the problem of propagating local structural schema changes to an already acquired integrated schema of
a federation. Our approach is to regard this problem from a schema integration point of view. The main contribution is the
development of a framework for performing evolution of an integrated schema without information loss and avoiding as much
as possible re-integration steps.
