Dr. Thomas Duesterberg is president of the Manufacturers Alliance/MAPI, Inc. and The Institute for Technological Advancement,
an affiliate of the Manufacturers Alliance. The Alliance conducts research in issues critical to the economic performance
of the private sector and conducts executive development programs. Prior to joining the Alliance, Dr. Duesterberg was Senior
Fellow and director of the Washington Office of the Hudson Institute. Dr. Duesterberg is co-author of three books and numerous
journal and op-ed articles on international trade, information technology, and global economics. He graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University in 1972 and received an M.A. and a Ph.D. from Indiana University in European History. Dr. Duesterberg
also serves on the Editorial Board of KT&P.
