The etiology, symptoms and diagnosis of the urethro-rectal fistula are described. The surgical treatment with special reference
to Whitehead — Young — Stone's operation is discussed. This procedure produced good results in 6 cases of urethro-rectal fistulas.
The period of postoperative observation varied from 1 to 11 years.
