Pharmacological effects of strophanthin combined with the action of some antiadrenergic agents were studied on isolated frog
atria and on models of acute and subacute cardiac insufficiency in rats. The studies demonstrated appreciable differences
in the effects of anapriline, cordarone and tropaphen on strophanthin toxicity and on its chronoinotropic properties.
