In the following, Miss Kaisa-Leena Riipola summarizes a work carried out at the initiative of the Nordic Committee on Building
Materials Research and Testing.
The purpose of this work was to collect information on the various testing methods used by Research Institutes in Scandinavian
countries in the field of Building Materials and Structures, with a view to bringing them into uniformity.
It is most desirable that other laboratories should take part in this work which would be of undeniable interest to them.
Mademoiselle Kaisa-Leena Riipola résume dans ce qui suit un travail réalisé à l'initiative de la Commission Nordique de Recherche
sur les Matériaux de Construction.
Il s'agissait de rassembler les méthodes d'essai utilisées par les instituts de Recherche des différents pays scandinaves,
méthodes d'essai relatives aux Matériaux de Construction et aux Structures, dans le but de les uniformiser.
La participation d'autres laboratoires à cette réalisation est vivement souhaitée, elle offrirait sans aucun doute pour eux
un grand intérêt.
