The mobile agent technology is promising in many fields of application, especially in the field of nomadic computer science.
Mobility and the new mode of communication used in ad hoc mobile networks cause problems proper to a mobile environment. In
this paper, we study the localization of mobile agents in ad hoc networks; an object which has a double mobility is to be
located, first, in relation to the mobility of its physical support in a dynamic environment, the station, and that of the
code through the network stations. Two localization protocols of mobile codes in ad hoc mobile networks are proposed. The
first is of the dispersed type and the second of the centralized type, based on a multi-agent mobile server, called the hurricane’s
eye, constituting an alternative of the absence of a fixed infrastructure.
