Learning materials for the European Virtual Campus for Biomedical Engineering (EVICAB) have been developed and are available
in different formats, e.g., text based material delivered as HTML or PDF documents, animated material, electronic text book,
audio and video based material. Video based material is a multimedia application with considerable promise for teaching and
learning in the higher education. Video lectures have been produced and tested as a learning tool in EVICAB. The preliminary
findings support further developments of the video based material for the Virtual Campus for Biomedical Engineering.
