An apparatus was developed for investigations of phase transformations and mechanical properties under programmed thermal and mechanical conditions, which makes it possible to study electrothermal treatment processes under any desired conditions, high-temperature thermomechanical treatment, lowtemperature thermomechanical treatment, machining, and treatment to obtain superplasticity.
