Abstract

In this paper, a wireless power transmission system employing two coils, based on inductive coupling is discussed. The project is proposed to increase distance for wireless power transfer that will give doctors more room to insert the sensor in the skin without sticking the transceiver too close to the body thus increasing mobility. It is divided into three main components, the transceiver, the inductive coils and the RF/DC converter. Simple experiments were done to verify the model and simulations were done to show the advantage of wireless power transmission which also prevents accidents related to cumbersome wires and no adequate grounding.
