Objective: To report a rare case of fish-hook eyelid injury.
Methods: Interventional case-report. A 25-year-old man presented with an upper eyelid fish-hook wound.
Results: The hook was extracted under local anaesthesia using the back-out method. Postoperatively, no complications were observed.
Conclusions: In the absence of serious ocular damage, the back-out method seems to be the best option for the removal of the hook in eyelid injuries.
