New alkyl carbonates of
-cyclodextrin have been obtained. These derivatives show lower haemolytic effect than the parent
-cyclodextrin. The complexation behaviour was tested with three important drugs, namely: progesterone, diazepam and flurbiprofen. DSC analyses were consistent with the inclusion complex formation.
