7-Chloro-8-trifluoromethylisoalloxazines with D-ribityl, D-galactyl, D-sorbityl, and L-rhamnityl substituants in the 10 position were obtained. The effect of the trifluoromethyl group on the electronic spectra of flavins containing a trifluoromethyl group was studied.
