Historically radio observations have been pivotal in the development of unified models. My feeling is that there are exiting possibilities for wider unification, particularly in the area of the relationship between non-thermal SEDs, the AGN fuelling and black hole mass. But we need more awareness of selection-induced correlations and need Urgently to develop better tools to deal with this difficult problem.
