Peter Abbs has taught in a number of schools and has been a Teaching Fellow at Hereford College of Education and the University College of Wales at Aberystwyth. He has written a number of stories for adolescents with reading problems and at present works as a free-lance writer. His recent work includes a consideration of the possible role of autobiography in the training of teachers,Autobiography in Education, and a symposium of essays on the present breakdown of culture,The Black Rainbow.
