Biopesticides reached prominence due to severe criticisms of chemical pesticides for both environmental and operational reasons
(e.g., insecticide resistance). After the identification of a promising pathogen, its successful implementation will depend on
the development of an effective “delivery system” that includes logistics of supply, formulation and application (Bateman,
