Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) and Blount's disease are reported to have a common etiology, but there is only one
report describing two cases in which adolescent Blount's disease coexisted with SCFE. In this article, we describe a case
of SCFE following contralateral infantile Blount's disease in an 11-year-old boy. This report is the first known case of SCFE
associated with infantile Blount's disease. In this patient, pelvic tilt caused by leg length discrepancy associated with
infantile Blount's disease and possible general weakness of the growth plate may be related to the occurrence of SCFE.
