Software information base is the main technique of the integration of software engineering environment. Data flow diagram
tool is an important software tool to support software requirement analysis phase. This article introduces the functions,
structures of a Software Information Base (SIB), and a Data Flow Diagram tool first. The E-R data model of SIB and its integration
with Data Flow Diagram tool are emphatically described.
