Louis Kriesberg is Director of the Program on the Analysis and Resolution of Conflicts at Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, 712 Ostrom Ave., Syracuse, N.Y. 13244. A professor of sociology at Syracuse, Kriesberg is the author of numerous publications, including
