Enterprise modelling is a technique for capturing and validating information systems requirements. The validity depends on how well the requirements reflect the real needs of the enterprise and how well they are understood by both requirements holder and requirements engineer. In the F

1, enterprise models are designed for modelling goals, activities, concepts and actors and linking them to information system requirements.
Speech act modelling can improve traditional process and activity models, since it introduces a richer terminology in how people use information. The speech act modelling method, developed within the NATURE project2, also introduces a classification of the organisational use of software.
In this paper we illustrate how these two methods developed within the F3 and the NATURE project can be combined for improving the capture and validation of business process related information system requirements. We show this by applying the methods to a common example.3
