Some aspects of the N-dimensional hydrogen atomare discussed. The complete solution for the energyeigenfunctions is presented and the radial distributionfunction is examined. Degeneracy of energy levels, expectation values (<1> and<1>
2>), and the virial theorem areconsidered. It is shown that the effect of the effectivepotential manifests itself in some of the aspects beinginvestigated.
