The values by which noise emitted from exhaust paths of different gas-turbine units equipped with heat recovery boilers exceeds
the levels prescribed by sanitary standards are calculated. Measures to reduce noise emitted from the exhaust paths of gas-turbine
units with heat recovery boilers are discussed, and design solutions developed at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute for
suppressing this noise are described.
