The authors found an omitted cost in their manuscript. Three patients in the surgical cohort underwent recasting for treatment of their clubfoot deformity. These patients eventually were found to require surgery. The cost of the recasting was not added to their total cost of care. The dollar amount was negligible and as this cohort was found in general to be more expensive than the Ponseti group we do not believe any difference in outcome or conclusions would be found by adding this omitted cost to the overall treatment costs.
