The possibility of association of QSO_s with both field galaxies and cluster galaxies is statistically analysed. The data of QSO_s used are those in the –40° zone of CTIO Curtis Schmidt Survey and those in the Virgo cluster region. It is suggested from the results obtained that the possibility of general association of QSO_s with bright cluster galaxies is statistically significant, but there is no evidence of general association of QSO_s with field galaxies.
