Abstract

Report on a series of 15 cases of posttraumatic epilepsy treated with Clonazepam.
The anticonvulsant activity of the benzodiazepine derivative Clonazepam (Rivotril) has been demonstrated in numerous investigations1, 2. Its beneficial effect in various types of epileptic seizures has led us to study the treatment of early epilepsy after severe brain injuries with Clonazepam.
