Rhizosphere mycoflora of four euphorbiaceous plants at seedling, flowering and senescent stages have been described. The fungal species were more common in the different rhizospheres in seedling stage when a number of

casual

forms were recorded. Later on a tendency towards specificity in fungal species was observed. The number of species isolated were generally highest in seedling stage and the least in senescent. The fungi per g of soil were always maximum at the time of maturity.
