We discuss a simple example demonstrating thatspontaneous emission from
space-time-superposed
atomiccenter-of-mass wave packets is nontrivially andtime-dependent modified with respect to the standard dipole pattern typical of
space-superposed
wave packets. Ourapproach provides an approximate description of anonsimultaneous interaction of an electromagnetic fieldwith different parts of a wave packet.
