This chapter presents an overview of the methodological perspective of the research. After a general discussion about scientific research, section 3.1 describes the research design based on the research questions and theoretical models hypothesized in this study. With the research design as a starting point, the research strategy is presented in section 3.3. In section 3.3, the perspectives are broadened by a discussion about the philosophical aspects of the research design. Finally, an interim summary of the chapter is given in 3.4.
