Synergistic use of ultrasonography, radiography, multidetector CT (MDCT) and MRI enabled a prompt and accurate diagnosis of
a nonocclusive popliteal vein thrombus (deep venous thrombosis, DVT) and a pseudoaneurysm complicating a sessile osteochondroma
in an 11-year-old boy who presented in the emergency department with sudden-onset nontraumatic pain in the posterior aspect
of the knee.
