Purpose To investigate the clinical effect of a combined treatment on anxiety neurosis.Method Eighty cases of anxiety neurosis were treated by acupuncture-moxibustion plus systematic desensitization. The result was compared with simple acupuncture-moxibustion or simple systematic desensitization.Results and conclusion The cure rate was 52.5% in acupuncture-moxibustion plus systematic desensitization, which was significantly different from that in simple acupuncture-moxibustion or in simple systematic desensitization (P<0.05).
