A procedure permitting to calculate a leakage flux of the main pole of a DC machine based on the idea that the DC machine
interpolar space can be represented by power tubes of a magnetic flux has been submitted. The procedure permits to increase
the calculation accuracy of the DC machine’s exciting coil.
